We’re not the biggest fans of Brie, but it was quite enjoyable. The cheese wasn’t too sharp or pungent which makes it more palatable. The bread was nice and soft, a perfect match for the cream. It also takes a cute photo thanks to the illustrations on the bread and the towel set up.

Black Winter Truffle Croissant: Black winter truffle croissant, served warm – $8.00

It was a rich, buttery, crispy croissant filled with truffles. It was creamy and warm inside. It was good but nothing exceptional.

*NEW* Cold Lobster Bisque Mousseline, Dill Brioche Puff Pastry: Iced lobster bisque mousse served with dill brioche – $10.50

It is one of the grossest foods in the history of the festival. It absolutely looks like dessert, and it has the consistency of dessert, but the mousse has chunks of lobster and tastes very fishy. DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS.

Hazelnut and Valrhona Chocolate Fondant Cake: Chocolate and Hazelnut Fondant Cake with Valrhona Pure Origin Chocolates – $7.75

In a slight change from last year, there’s now some nuttiness inside, but you only taste it in the back. It’s a consistently good dessert, but pretty basic since it’s just a chocolate lava cake. It’s still worth ordering if you want it, though.

*NEW* Frozen French Martini: Gray Goose Vodka ($27/bottle), Liqueur de Chambord ($28/bottle), Pineapple, Orange & Grape Juice with Lemon-Lime Mousse – $15.00

We expected it to be extremely soft based on the description; however, it was a crowd pleaser. It’s well balanced and smooth, but not too sweet where you lose the essence of this delicious cocktail. You can really taste the grape juice in this one. The lemon-lime mousse on top was a little flat, which was disappointing, but the Chambord is the highlight of the drink, pairing really well with the grape juice. This one gets a big thumbs up from us.

*NEW* Charles Lafitte, Brut Rosé Prestige, Traditional Champenoise Method, French rosé sparkling wine ($15/bottle) – $8.00

According to Drizly, this sparkling wine has a “beautiful pale pink color, with slightly salmon reflections”, “floral aromas of a bouquet of spring flowers with subtle notes of small red fruits”, with a taste “of delicacy and freshness , sweet and elegant notes of strawberry combined with wildflowers.

*NEW* Le Haut Médoc de Trintaudon, Cabernet Sauvignon ($15/bottle) – $9.50

From Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd. : “The deep ruby red color is intense and luminous. The nose is dominated by fresh red fruits, supported by subtle woody aromas which add to the complexity of the whole. On the palate, the attack is frank and round, with well-integrated tannins and an excellent sense of balance. The elegant finish is long, fruity and velvety.

*NEW* Champagne Malard, Blanc de Blanc, Sparkling Chardonnay ($37/bottle) – $17.00

According to Champagne Malard, their Blanc de Blanc has “a lively sparkle with the characteristic bright golden green reflections of Chardonnay”, while “the nose is fresh and elegant with a floral attack. Delicate notes of brioche announce the beginning of maturity. In the open air, a sweet association of dried fruits and honey confirms the balance between freshness and maturity. The taste is “complex, reproducing the freshness and maturity of the nose”.
